An Enemy of the People (Equity Approved Showcase)

Duse Productions presents a new, intimate staging of Henrik Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People, beginning January 28 at the American Theatre of Actors. This Equity Approved Showcase marks the first public engagement in an ongoing life for the production beyond this initial run.

Performed in full and guided by a newly prepared English translation drawn from Ibsen’s original Norwegian text, the staging emphasizes clarity, truthfulness, and ensemble-driven storytelling. Presented in a close, immersive setting, the production brings audiences face-to-face with Ibsen’s enduring questions of truth, courage, and the cost of integrity within a divided community.

Ages: recommended for ages 12+ due to mature themes and intense moments
