The New York Festival presents ALONE, a visceral new play by Tiffany Renelle Adams. Born from the question, “What would be a scary turn for life to take?” ALONE introduces us to Kissimi James—a woman locked in a silent war with grief following the death of her father. As her world shrinks to the walls of her father’s home— and his ashes on the table— her isolation awakens addictions and intergenerational pains that she thought had been put to rest. But unattended hygiene, self-harm, and haunting memories come together to bring her to a startling madness.
