A Midsummer in Pieces at Gibney 280 Broadway

A Midsummer in Pieces is a mixed-repertory show featuring a diverse collection of works, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream (student abridged one-act, adapted from William Shakespeare) and Galen Mae original works A Pink-Bellied Teddy Bear (one-act musical exploring identity, childhood, and queer self-discovery), Monologue Ballet (dance-theatre collaboration inspired by student-written monologues), and a musical performance from The Loveless Poet. In addition to these works, we will be featuring work by Smith & Co. and independent performing artists; this program promises to be full of community, joy, and love for art and creation!
