TALE: NYC's Finest Storytelling to Feature Adam Wade, Anoush Froundjian & More
Marc Abbott and Jess Wood join the lineup at the Red Room above KGB Bar.
The storytelling series TALE will return to the Red Room above KGB Bar on Friday, June 26, featuring a lineup of performers from comedy, radio, and live storytelling.
Hosted and produced by Harmon Leon of This American Life, the event will feature appearances by Adam Wade, Jess Wood, Anoush Froundijan, and Marc Abbott, along with additional special guests.
Wade is known for his work in stand-up comedy and television appearances, while Wood has appeared on HBO's Def Comedy Jam. Froundijan is a performer with Armenian Power Hour, and Abbott is a Moth StorySLAM storyteller.
Founded more than a decade ago, TALE has become a regular fixture of New York City's storytelling scene. Past participants have included Roy Wood Jr., Jena Friedman, John Fugelsang, Anthony Haden-Guest, and writers and performers associated with The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight, Conan, and other television programs.
The event will take place at the Red Room above KGB Bar, located at 85 East 4th Street in Manhattan. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $20, with discounted tickets available using the promotional code "DiscountTALE." The event is open to guests 21 and older and includes a two-drink minimum.
