Zenith Productions presents Neil LaBute's "The Way We Get By" opening Sunday March 31st and playing through Sunday April 14th at Urban Stages (259 West 30th Street). Francesca Ravera and André Vauthey star with direction by Kim T. Sharp.

Doug and Beth, both attractive singles, meet at a drunken wedding reception and end up having sex at an apartment Beth shares with her control freak room mate. Unable to sleep, Doug gets up in the middle of the night and inadvertently wakes Beth with his fidgeting. The two begin some humorously awkward conversation that veers toward their love lives before Beth, wanting to get intimate again, meets with resistance from Doug. After she probes as to why Doug doesn't want to jump back into bed with her he reveals not only his feelings but a surprising bond they share from the past. Fast-moving, sexy and surprisingly poignant The Way We Get By is a comedy about lust, love and life.

Francesca Ravera hails from Italy where she acted in theater and has had articles written about her in major newspapers such as Corriere Della Sera, La Stampa and La Repubblica. She had a starring role alongside Danny Glover and German actor Udo Kier in Federico Alotto's 2018 feature film "Ulysses: A Dark Odyssey" that won the prestigious Premio Vincenzo Crocitti Award and was released in Italy last year. She played the lead in Claire, a dramatic, performance driven short film and is slated to star in the new film Orisis directed by Tamara Hensen. Her New York stage credits include leads in Taxi Tales, Rules of Love, A Thousand Clowns, Two Rooms, North of Providence, and The Nina Variations. She trained at Neighborhood Playhouse and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.

André Valthey, a native of Switzerland, moved to New York City to continue his acting career. Stage credits include A Lie of the Mind at Marilyn Monroe Theatre, Time Stands Still at Physics Theater, The Nina Variations at Chain Theatre, as well as a German adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream at LAB Frankfurt. He's acted in numerous short films including "Dangle Staddle" for which he received Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Strasberg Film Festival. He's studied with Tim Kent at Pinewood Studios in London and at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.

Kim T. Sharp served as Associate Artistic Director and Literary Manager at Abingdon Theatre Company for sixteen seasons. He directed seven productions at Abingdon including Laurence Luckinbill's Teddy Tonight! which had an extended commercial run. His recent directing credits include Will Snider's Death of A Driver at Urban Stages, Anand Rao's A Muslim in the Midst at Hudson Guild Theatre and Kevin Daly's comedy Kitty Bomb on Theatre Row. He is the recipient of a directing fellowship from the Charles A. Revson Foundation.

"The Way We Get By" opens at Urban Stages (259 West 30th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues) on Sunday March 31st at 7:30PM and runs thru Sunday April 14th. The performance schedule is as follows: Sun 3/31, Wed. 4/3 thru Sat. 4/6 and Wed. 4/10 thru Sat. 4/13 at 7:30PM with Sunday matinees on 4/7 and 4/14 at 3PM. General admission is $20.
