A Midsummer Night's Dream at The Lincoln Theatre

Shakespeare's classic tale comes to life in this full-length ballet set to Henry Purcell's The Faery Queen. Carpe Diem String Quartet and some of the region's most noted singers and Renaissance musicians will accompany this world premiere choreographed by Tim Veach. The Company brings this beautiful and frolicsome tale of love, mistaken identity, jealousy, and joy to life at the Lincoln Theatre for three performances. Some 80 students from the professional School of Columbus Dance Theatre will join the Company delighting audiences as dancing flowers, enchanted creatures, nymphs, and more. Beautiful live music, stunning dancing, spectacular costumes by designer Elizabeth Hopkin, and Tim Veach's theatrical choreography that always delights the audiences of Columbus Dance Theatre; all offer an amazing visual feast for the end of this landmark Season.
