The dazzling technique and infectious humor of The Gizmo Guys, a comedy-juggling duo that The New York Times called "Human virtuosity with a touch of lunacy," will grace the stage at The Alden in McLean for a single performance on Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15, $10 for McLean tax district residents. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

The Magic of Christmas Magic Show starring World Champion Illusionist Wayne Alan will appear live on stage this Saturday and next Friday and Saturday at the Historic North Theatre in Danville, VA. It is an exciting yet heart warming magic and illusion show themed around Christmas. This holiday show which is full of family fun has not only amazing magic but also great music, including many of your favorite sacred and secular holiday songs. Add lots of good clean comedy to the show, and you have the perfect family entertainment. Christianity, the real meaning of Christmas is woven throughout the show. For the first time this year and soon to become a Danville tradition, the show will close with the theatre's classic portrayal of the nativity live on stage. The production is inspired by the famous Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Morey B. Epstein Joins Synetic Theater as Development Director

This December Morey B. Epstein will join the Synetic Theater family after 24 years as the chief development officer at Washington DC's Studio Theatre. Synetic is most known for cutting-edge and visceral theatre productions and has won 92 Helen Hayes Award Nominations and 24 Awards in 12 years of its existence. Mr. Epstein will use his expertise and extensive knowledge to help fund Synetic's mission and programs. He will be responsible for organizing and directing all facets of fundraising activities.
Alden in McLean Declares January 2014 'Shakespeare Month'
