Set in the roaring 20s and inspired by the comedy of silent film era stars Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, Twelfth Night tells the tale of fraternal twins, Viola and Sebastian, separated in a strange new land. Having survived a shipwreck and believing her brother Sebastian has been lost, Viola falls hopelessly in love with Duke Orsino and disguises herself as a man to enter his services. Synetic's take on Twelfth Night is a fast-paced and hilarious comedy enhanced by Synetic's movement-based storytelling and influenced by 1920s dance and choreography!

Twelfth Night runs Wednesday through Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm through Feburary 16 with two added performances at 2pm on February 8 & 15. Tickets start at $35. This production is the 10th installment in Synetic Theater's "silent Shakespeare" series and has no dialogue.

Founded in 2001 by the husband and wife team of Paata and Irina Tsikurishvili, Synetic Theater is the region's premier contemporary theater, fusing dynamic art forms-drama, text, movement, acrobatics, dance, film, and original music-to create a unique and original whole. Synetic has received a total of 92 Helen Hayes Award nominations and 24 Awards for directing, choreography, acting, costume design, and resident play.
