Auditions must be submitted by March 18th by the form linked above or sent via email. Rehearsals will begin March 22nd. Performances will be video recorded and streamed during the first weekend of May. All rehearsals and performances will be held via Zoom or other online media and will be held 2-3 times a week. We will set the rehearsal dates once we have the conflict list of the actors cast in the show. If callbacks are necessary, we will reach out to actors with a request and details for further reading.

Due to the nature of this play and the limitations placed on group gatherings, we are asking that anyone wishing to be cast have access to a computer and an internet connection capable of running a Zoom conference call.

Normally Spotlight Playhouse charges cast members a production fee to help cover the costs associated with the play. We are waiving that fee for this show because the costs of producing this show should be considerably lower than the typical show. We will ask that everyone cast become a Spotlight Playhouse member, this is a $20 fee, and the benefits of membership can be found on our website:

It takes place during the April-June 2020 timeframe as the world reacts to and deals with the effects of the pandemic on all aspects of life. It is a light comedy that deals with people adapting to the use of technology to remain social. The show is sometimes sweet, sometimes serious and sometimes sentimental. It deals with a group of actors gathered via Zoom to rehearse for their upcoming streaming performance of the Passion Play for Easter. The characters are sharing their experiences and frustrations with living in and around New York City and Long Island during the Pandemic, as they enjoy the company of their fellow actors.
