RAGTIME **POSTPONED** - Bay Street Theater

CHILDREN’S CASTING AUDITION
FOR MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION OF
RAGTIME! THE MUSICAL
AT BAY STREET THEATER
POSTPONED


Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is regrettably announcing the postponement of its recently scheduled casting audition for our Mainstage Season production of Ragtime! The Musical. The audition, originally scheduled to be held on Thursday, March 26, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, is postponed, and will be held on a later date.

At this moment, no decision has yet been made to move or postpone the production dates of Ragtime! The Musical, and everything is proceeding as planned. The role is Girl, between the ages of 8 and 10. Girl is the daughter of Tateh. Her mother is gone, and her father is all she has. She is initially overwhelmed and frightened by the new world she and her father have arrived in, but trusts her father to protect her.

Ragtime! The Musical is the third and final production of Bay Street Theater’s Mainstage season. Rehearsals begin in New York City on Tuesday, July 7, and continue through Monday, July 27. Rehearsals continue at Bay Street Theater on Wednesday, July 29, through Sunday, August 2. Performance dates are Tuesday, August 4, through Sunday, September 6. Contract dates are Monday, July 6, through Sunday, September 6.
