CAHOOTS - The Manor Club Theatre Non Equity Auditions

The Manor Club Theatre (TMCT) is holding auditions for their next production, CAHOOTS, a comedy play by Rick Johnston and directed by Elizabeth Paldino, Monday and Tuesday, January 12 and 13 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. Jan (30’s- 60’s) Female – A successful soap opera and commercial actress. Not the brightest bulb on the planet. Enjoys the finer things in life. Married to Ken.

Lois (30’s-60’s) Female – A fiction editor married to Al. She pretends to be content in her marriage and life but finds her husband boring. When tragedy strikes and secrets are revealed she finds herself rethinking everything.

Al (30’s-60’s) Male – An Ad agency Art Director who is unhappy in his profession as an ad executive. abrasive and neurotic, especially on the subject of crime in New York City, make him seem borderline psychotic. Married to Lois.

Ken (30’s-60’s) Male – An insecure, talentless architect who drinks a lot and flies into sputtering rages and who falls to pieces when anything of the ordinary happens. Married to Jan.

Grant – (20’s-40’s) Uniformed Security Guard who at first seems innocent and naïve and turns into a blackmailer.
