SEEKING
Contemporary theatrical performers (singers, singer/movers) seeking professional work for the experience. In addition to seasoned
professionals, local talent and aspiring performers are also encouraged to attend. PRiMA offers a minimal number of stipends/
associated perks available to cover travel expenses for non-local talent. PRiMA also provides housing for non-local talent.
All performers are asked and invited to reserve an audition slot, including those who have performed for PRiMA in the past.
BREAKDOWN
Retro Sounds: February cabaret featuring music of the past that has inspired today’s tunes.
Evening dress rehearsals February 10-12, evening performances February 13-15.
Jason Robert Brown in Concert: Solo concert of the Broadway composer. No other talent are being booked.
80’s Re-Lived!: A staged celebration of music’s most opulent decade of pop hits. Primarily April evening rehearsals, some
weekends, May 18 & 25 (Sundays) performances.
Guilty Pleasures: A cabaret of all the songs you secretly love. Likely August/September dates. Evening and weekend rehearsals.
Sunday performances only.
Rockin’ Rodgers & Hammerstein: A contemporary tip of the hat to the theatre legends in jazz club/cabaret style performance.
September-October rehearsals and performances. Evening and weekend rehearsals. Sunday performances only.
Oz in Concert: Music inspired by everything related to the Emerald City! October and November rehearsals, evenings and
weekends only. December performances, dates yet to be determined.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
SINGERS BY APPOINTMENT
Slots every 10 min. beginning at 1:30pm on Jan. 11.
CALL BACKS
Vocalist callbacks scheduled for the eve of Jan. 12.
Movement section of audition is by as-needed, call-back
only.
VIDEO AUDITIONS
There's nothing like meeting you in person, but if you are
unable to attend the audition, you are welcome to send a
video with your headshot and resume to PRiMA at
info@primatheatre.com. All videos must be submitted before
January 10, 2013.
WHAT TO BRING
• Sheet music (pianist is provided).
• Prepare 16 measures from two contrasting pieces.
• Music related to the show season is encouraged.
• Headshot/resume.
• Instrument (i.e. guitar) if you wish to play in audition.
• Proper clothing for movement.
