PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This virtual cabaret will feature brand new Holiday music written with a theatrical flare by songwriters from across the entire country. Songs are paired with singer/actors who will perform virtually from their hometowns across the globe.
SHOW DATE: Dec 23, 2020 (The show will be pre-recorded and broadcast live on YouTube Live at a time TBD on this date. Depending on the time zone differences of our writers and performers, the show might be broadcast multiple times)
COMPENSATION: All songwriters and performers will receive a portion of ticket sales and all funds collected in our NextStage actor tip jar.
AUDITIONS FOR SONGWRITERS:
We are looking for songs with musical theatre tendencies that allow our performers to dive into a character or story with room to deliver an acting performance as well as a vocal one. Song submissions do not have to be polished, final products. Songs can be submitted as phone voice memo demos, video demos, whatever you are able to submit to get your song across! If your song is submitted, we will either need an instrumental backing track or sheet music so that a backing track can be created by an accompanist.
