FULL BREAKDOWN:
Non-Union casting for the original musical, Love Lives On.
Applicants must reside full time in the Area of Consideration (Central/Southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia area). The show's run will be in South Jersey for two consecutive weekends (six performances). Performances are paid.
The first callbacks are expected to be in August/September. The second callbacks (in person) are expected to be in October/November, and final cast selections will be in December. Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled to begin in January, and the show is tentatively scheduled to run late spring/early summer 2021. Specific rehearsal dates are not yet established; however, they will be on Sundays.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
Character 1 (AG)
Lead male, Caucasian, Age: 25 – 30, 5’7-6’0”; athletic/muscular build, blue eyes, clean shaven, medium-length very light blond hair; (Note: To be selected for this role, the applicant must have natural blond hair or agree to color accordingly (and further acknowledge this agreement during the submission process); vocals: Low and mid-range with a strong vibrato; ability to read music desired; dancing experience desired.
Character 2 (MV)
Lead male, Caucasian, Age: 25 – 30, 5'7-6'0; rugged athletic, bad-ass, wise-guy-type. Mediterranean (dark hair, eyes, etc.). Clean shaven with a Brooklyn swagger/attitude and heavy Brooklyn accent; Applicant must be able to roll Rs, and be able to pronounce Italian words/phrases; vocals: mid-to-high range with a strong vibrato; ability to read music is desired; dancing experience required.
Character 3 (MC)
Supporting female, Caucasian, Age: 30 – 35, 5'2-5'7 average, curvy; the character has a thick Italian/broken English accent and is the comic relief in the show; the character recites some words and phrases in Sicilian therefore, a rudimentary knowledge of Italian would be helpful; vocals: low-to-mid range with a strong vibrato; ability to read music required.

Ensemble/chorus male, Caucasian, Age: 48 – 52 , 5'8-6'1; average, distinguished. vocals; low to mid-range; dancing experience desired.
Character 5 (AL)
Ensemble/chorus female, Caucasian, Age: 43 – 48, 5'4-5'7, slim to average, youthful and attractive with shoulder-length, or below-the-shoulder blond hair; New York/Brooklyn accent. Vocals: Mid-to-high range; dancing experience desired.
Character 6 (TM)
Ensemble/chorus male, All ethnicities, Age: 25 – 31, athletic build, 5'7-6'1, 25-30. Macho, no facial hair, Brooklyn edgy; vocals mid-range. Character is in the Navy and wears a real uniform.
Character 7 (YG)
Ensemble/chorus female, Caucasian, Age: 18 – 20, 5'3-5'6; slim, well below-the-shoulder brown hair; vocals: Mid-to-high range with a strong vibrato; ability to read music required; dancing experience required. Minimum age to apply for this role is 18.

Ensemble/chorus male, Caucasian, Age: 18 – 20, 5'6-5'9, macho, medium-length dark hair; vocals: low-to-mid-range with a strong vibrato; ability to read music required; dancing experience required. Minimum age to apply for this role is 18.
