Eugene Onegin - Houston Grand Opera Non Equity Auditions

Houston Grand Opera Audition Notice for Dancers Houston Grand Opera is seeking 2 male and 2 female dancers for its 2015-16 Fall Repertory production of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. All dancers will appear in the opera’s chorus scenes. One male/female pair will also be featured in a solo dance in the final act, with the other pair understudying. Interested candidates should have strong classical and modern dance training and should have FULL availability on evenings and weekends as well as SOME weekday daytime availability during the production period of September 29 – November 13, 2015. Compensation shall be paid at scale rates according to Houston Grand Opera’s agreement with the American Guild of Musical Artists. Houston Grand Opera’s production of Eugene Onegin will be directed by Paula Suozzi and choreographed by Serge Bennathan. Michael Hofstetter will conduct.
