Auditions for Death Trap
A Comedy-thriller by Ira Levin

Show Synopsis:
Sidney Bruhl is a successful writer of Broadway mystery plays but is currently suffering through a series of flops. While down-on-his-luck, Bruhl comes upon the manuscript of a brilliant suspense drama written by unknown writer Clifford Anderson. Bruhl, desperate for a hit play, invites Clifford to collaborate with him on the play. Actually, Bruhl plans to murder Clifford and pass off Clifford's play as his own. What Bruhl doesn't know, however, is that Clifford has some surprise plot points of his own up his sleeve.

Sidney Bruehl- Male, 40s-60s-acclaimed playwright suffering a string of flops
Clifford Anderson-Male-mid 20s-mid 30s-a younger author, has a manuscript with lots of promise that Sidney intends to steal
Myra Bruehl-Female, 30s-50s-Sidney's wife
Helga Ten Dorp- Female-30s-60s-an eccentric psychic
Porter Milgrim-Male, mid 30s-70s-Sidney's agent and long time friend
Auditions will be starting at 7:00pm Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Callbacks February 21st only as needed.

Audition location is KVPAC, Building 2, in the Grand Vision Children's Theatre at 2501 S Mason Rd # 290, Katy, TX 77450.
Please prepare a 1-3 minute contemporary comedic monologue.
Bring headshot/ resume if you have one.
Participants must be age 17 or older.
If callbacks are needed, they will be located in Building 1, in the Magyar Main Theatre at KVPAC.
