POUND RIDGE THEATRE COMPANY HOLDS CASTING CALL FOR CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION
October 6 and 7, 2013
The Pound Ridge Theatre Company is seeking a cast of 2 men
(late 30s to early 50s) and 3 women (one teenager, two women aged 30-50) for the Obie Award-winning
comedy, Circle Mirror Transformation by Annie Baker.
When Marty's creative drama class begins to experiment with seemingly harmless games, hearts are
quietly torn apart, and tiny wars of epic proportions are waged and won. A beautifully crafted comedy
with hilarious detail and clarity, Annie Baker’s Circle Mirror Transformation is an actor’s play, and won
the 2009 Obie Award for Best New American Play.
Auditions will be held at Conant Hall, 257 Westchester Ave (Rte 137) in Pound Ridge, NY on Sunday,
October 6th
and Monday, October 7th
from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Circle Mirror Transformation is under the direction of Alicia Dempster of Danbury, CT.
Auditions will consist of reading from the script. This is a non-Equity production and all roles are

Rehearsals begin on October 14th, with performances running November 22 through December 7, 2013.
