Audition Notice For the Fall, 2014 Production of A Midsummer Night's Dream
The Armonk Players proudly announces auditions for a new, inspired, creative version (but with full text intact) of A Midsummer Night's Dream. By William Shakespeare Directed by Christine DiTota.
Sunday, August 10 and Monday, August 11, 2014 from 7:30pm to 10:00pm at:
Whippoorwill Hall (North Castle Public Library -- use Kent Place entrance)
19 Whippoorwill Road East
Armonk, NY 10504
Rehearsals: Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays (and some Sundays) in the evening.
Show dates: 12/5, 12/6, 12/7, 12/11, 12/12, 12/13 2014 (all performances at 8pmexcept for 4pm on 12/7)
A new interpretation of this play will leave many elements open to inspiration.
Roles will not be gender specific. Titania, Bottom, Mechanicals and Fairies will be open to either male or female actors.
