Playhouse South announces open auditions for 9 to 5: The Musical – Clark Haines Theater 3700 Far Hills Ave.Kettering, OH
Auditions are Monday, August 26 and Tuesday, August 27 at 7 PM. Callbacks will beWednesday, August 28 at 7 PM. Potential read through rehearsal planned for September 2.
Please prepare a 1 minute song, from a musical or 80's pop/rock/country song. A CD player and accompanist will be provided. Cold readings from the script will be required. There will also be a movement/dance portion to the audition. Please bring a list of conflicts throughOctober 31, 2013.
Notes. The available roles are listed below:
DICK - Male, 35-45 yrs old, non-singing
DORALEE - Female, 25-30 yrs old, Mezzo-soprano (high belt)
DWAYNE - Male, 25-30 yrs old, Tenor
FRANKLIN HART - Male, 45-50 yrs old, Baritone (must be able to hit G4)
JOE - Male 23-30 yrs old, Tenor/High Baritone
JOSH - Male, 15-18 yrs old, non-singing
JUDY - Female, 30-35 yrs old, Mezzo-soprano (high belt)
ROZ KEITH - Female, 35-45 yrs old, Alto
VIOLET - Female, 40-50 yrs old, Alto (must be able to hit A5)
ENSEMBLE - Male and Female, 25 yrs and older, some non-singing and/or non-dancing roles available
