War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast at Clemans Theater for the Arts

Adapted by Joe Landry from the H.G. Wells novel, this production brings the story to the stage in the style of a 1930s radio program, inspired by Orson Welles' famous 1938 broadcast. The cast includes Matt Mancuso as Orson Welles, Liz Mattera, Andrew Betz, and Ken Hornbeck, directed by Mark David Boberick. In conjunction with the show, East Lynne Theater Company will host two Martian CONtests on Oct. 30 and 31, inviting audience members to dress as extraterrestrials, with prizes for best costumes and light refreshments served.
