Silver Stages offers free theater workshops for seniors, starting March 2 at the Gateway Family YMCA in Union, NJ. The program includes three workshop tracks: Acting/Improvisation led by Susan Speidel, Playwriting taught by Bill Mesce, Jr., and Musical Theater with instructor Gail Lou. Each class consists of 10 sessions, culminating in a showcase featuring performances of songs and scenes developed throughout the program. The initiative aims to empower participants through creative expression and build a sense of community among older individuals.
