Daddy, An Un-Chinese Kid follows a Chinese university student in the USA as she navigates the challenges of balancing her passions with her family's expectations amidst a complex cultural backdrop in 2020. Written by Yangzhou (Yao) Bian and directed by Sandrine Dupiton, this theatrical work explores themes of identity and familial obligation. The production is part of the inaugural Garden State New Play Festival at the Jersey City Theater Center.
