Chirp: NEC’s Music Technology Showcase features acclaimed saxophonist and composer Ingrid Laubrock and laptop artist Ikue Mori, who will perform alongside Ted Reichman and Lautaro Mantilla. The concert will showcase masterclass pieces by composition students integrating electronics and improvisation, taking place on April 30 at NEC’s Plimpton Shattuck Black Box Theatre. Laubrock, known for her innovative soundscapes, will also present works from her latest album, while Mori contributes her unique laptop performances, highlighting the intersection of technology and music.
