DISNEY'S FROZEN Will Come to MPAC This Week

MPAC's 2026 spring production of Disney's Frozen will take the stage for five performances May 29-31. The show will be directed by Cathy Roy. Music Direction by Charles Santoro. Tickets are $35-$57 (includes all fees). Performances will run May 29-31.

The cast includes 50 young performers from throughout the region, representing seven New Jersey counties.

Kendell Lemmerling of Monmouth Junction will portray Elsa. This role marks her debut in an MPAC musical. Previous credits include Jekyll and Hyde (Emma), Urinetown (Hope), Mean Girls (Cady). She has taken part in CCM's Summer Musical Theatre Program, Rider University's Summer Musical Theatre Program, and Broadway Evolved Intensives.

Alyssa Correa of Dover plays Elsa's spunky sister Anna. Her theatre credits include The Light in the Piazza (Clara Johnson), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Marguerite St. Just), Carousel (Julie Jordan), In the Heights (Vanessa), Into the Woods (Baker's Wife), Pippin (Player), The Addams Family (Saloon Girl Ancestor), and Wicked LIVE! Parody (Elphaba). Alyssa trained at Montclair State University while earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Cole Grey of Bridgewater portrays Hans. Cole has been in previous MPAC productions including Newsies (Race) and Beauty and the Beast (Beast). He has appeared on Broadway in Fun Home. Cole is a member of the Actors' Equity Association. He is currently attending New York University.

Caiden Loyer has the role of Kristoff. Caiden was previously seen in MPAC's productions of Newsies (Albert) and Beauty and the Beast (Monsieur D'Arque/Featured Ensemble). Additional theater credits include Grease (Danny Zuko), Something Rotten! (Nick Bottom), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour Krelborn), Sweeney Todd (Anthony Hope), The Wizard of Oz (Cowardly Lion), Mean Girls (Aaron Samuels), Clue (Colonel Mustard), and The Crucible (John Proctor). Caiden has trained at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and with Elisa Girlando Studios.

Miles Schmidt of Morris Plains will provide comic relief in the role of Olaf. This will be his fourth production at MPAC.  A few favorite past experiences include Elf (National tour) Finding Neverland (WPPAC), SpongeBob (FMS) and Matilda (MPAC).

Other principal roles include: Naomi Cohen of Morristown (Bulda), Garid Garcia of Edison (Weselton), Julia Helms of Wayne (Queen), Aria Kane of Bernardsville (Young Elsa), Zion Pearson of Morristown (Pabbie), Logan Scarpa of Sparta (King), Oliver Shoaf of Bridgewater (Oaken), Charlotte Surak of Basking Ridge (Young Anna).

Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, Disney's Frozen includes all the film's beloved songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, along with new music written exclusively for the stage. In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa is crowned queen, the magical powers she's desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, and she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends on Arendelle, Anna sets off on an epic journey to find Elsa and bring her home – with the help of hardworking ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf. Full of magic, humor, and a stunning musical score, Frozen is a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and finding the real meaning of true love.
