AN EVENING WITH JAY BLACK & FRIENDS Comes to the Keswick Theatre, 1/19
Grab a friend and spend an Evening with Jay Black & Friends on Saturday, January 19 at the Keswick Theatre.
With Jay Black as lead singer, Jay and The Americans charted a string of hits including This Magic Moment, Walkin' In The Rain, Cara Mia, Only in America, Come a Little Bit Closer and Sunday and Me, the first hit written by Neil Diamond. It was Black's magnificent voice that gave the group the distinctive sound that allowed it to turn out 21 chart singles.
Jay and the Americans made numerous appearances on the hottest television programs of the day, from Johnny Carson to Mike Douglas to Merv Griffin and more. When The Beatles made their first appearance in the United States, it was Jay and the Americans who opened for them. Black and his band also opened for the Rolling Stones, among other superstars.
Sharing the bill are Jay Siegel's Tokens, who reached international acclaim following the release of their Number One hit single, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, and Little Isidore and the Inquisitors, All Night Long.
An Evening with Jay Black & Friends, presented by Rrazz Entertainment, coming to the Keswick Theatre on Saturday, January 19, 2013. Showtime is 8 pm.
