The Yaeko Miranda Quartet reimagines classic rock and popular songs through the lens of a classically trained string quartet, blending precision and beauty of chamber music with rock-and-roll favorites. Led by violinist Yaeko Miranda Elmaleh, who has performed alongside Stevie Wonder, Itzhak Perlman, Smokey Robinson, and Bernadette Peters, the group transforms familiar melodies through imaginative arrangements. Elmaleh is also a longtime member of the Klezmer Conservatory Band, performing at venues such as Avery Fisher Hall and Symphony Hall. This one-performance-only concert offers audiences a fresh, intimate take on beloved songs.
