Charlotte and George Hay are two actors who are on the verge of being “washed up”. Their situation has put them in the position of taking roles they are not thrilled to play, such as Cyrano de Bergerac and a soap opera star. When they get word that Frank Capra is looking for replacement actors for his film The Scarlet Pimpernel and is considering them, the fun begins. Mistaken identities, a nearly deaf mother, confused relationships and a play within a play all help to make this farcical comedy one you don’t want to miss.
