Oldies But Goodies was the title of a series of long-play record albums that began in 1959, with the idea to make available again favourite songs from earlier years. That is exactly what Craig Morrison’s 23rd annual Roots of Rock & Roll Concert, Oldies But Goodies from the 1960s & ’70s aims to do.

Twice a year the Cole Foundation's Intercultural Conversations-Conversations Interculturelles (IC-CI) program disperses hundreds of thousands of dollars to support professional Montreal theatre companies who produce, commission and translate plays that show diversity on stage. The Segal Centre for Performing Arts will present the Canadian Premiere of English by Sanaz Toossi in a co-production with Toronto’s Soulpepper Theatre Company. The virtual reality exhibition New Surroundings: Approaching The Untouchable makes its world premiere at the Livart Gallery in Montreal, from March 24 to April 30, 2023.

The Stephanie Lake Company makes its Danse Danse debut with its new work, Colossus, featuring students from the Ecole de danse contemporaine de Montréal and the Ecole supérieure de ballet du Québec. Presented from March 8 to 11, 2023, in Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts.

Rahul Varma’s Counter Offence captures the pulse of Quebec politics circa 1995. This important show, presented at the Segal Centre from March 15-April 2, is guided by rising director Murdoch Schon.

Black Theatre Workshop returns with a gripping story. Makambe K Simamba's acclaimed play Our Fathers, Sons, Lovers and Little Brothers will make its much-anticipated Montreal premiere, on February 22 until February 26, 2023, at The Segal Centre's Sylvan Adams Theatre.

Alexandre da Costa with the Longueuil Symphony Orchestra are pleased to announce on April 16, 2023, at 3pm,  it will present a fully orchestrated concert version of Mad Hatter The Musical at Place des Arts Symphony Hall in downtown Montreal.

Centaur Theatre presents Steve Galluccio's newest work, AT THE BEGINNING OF TIME, directed by Peter Hinton-Davis. Galluccio's most personal play since Mambo Italiano, AT THE BEGINNING OF TIME is an autobiographical tale of an Italian-Canadian gay man approaching 60, who believes he has settled into life, only to be confronted with the reality of having to reimagine everything he once knew.

The MAI Board of Directors will welcome Camille Larivée as the new General and Artistic Director of MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels). They will bring their expertise and passion for intercultural arts to continue to carry out MAI's mission.
