Duluth Playhouse presents Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors at the NorShor Theatre, running May 29 through June 7, 2026. Shipwrecked and separated 33 years earlier, two sets of long-lost twins end up in the same city on the same day, setting off a cascade of mistaken identities, wrongful arrests, and increasingly absurd encounters. James Alexander Rankin and Matthew Olsen star as the Antipholus brothers, with Phillip Hoelscher and Hunter Ramsden as their servants the Dromios, alongside Alyson Enderle, Jess Hughes, Tom Angland, and Christine Winkler Johnson. Reimagined through a modern visual style and directed by Sean Naughton, this production brings both the humor and heart of one of Shakespeare's earliest comedies to life with a sharp, accessible take on the classic story.
