Portrait of the Artist as a Young Gay Man begins in Patrick Scully’s high school in the 1960’s then to his journey of discovery through his school, college years, and into his early professional life in the arts. Patrick weaves his own story into the larger story of the victories and defeats of LGBTQ+ individuals, not only in Minneapolis/St. Paul but across the country. Portrait premiered at ILLUSION in September of 2024, and we're excited to be bringing back this very special performance piece.
