Hit The Lights
Hit the Lights originated in Lima, Ohio and consists of members Nick, Omar, Nate, Kevin, and Dave. Hit The Lights plays pop-punk. Contrary to the popular belief that they got their name from the Metallica song, the band got their name from the 80's skateboarding film, "Gleaming the Cube".
After signing to Triple Crown Records in 2005 their debut EP, 'Until We Get Caught,' generated lots of buzz within webzines and websites such as AbsolutePunk and Myspace. The band's debut full-length "This is a Stick Up…Don't Make it a Murder" was released on April 11, 2006. The band has continually toured since the release of their album playing at Bamboozle left and Warped Tour in 2006.
In June 2007, Colin announced he was leaving the band. The band has recently announced that Nick will be the new lead singer. With a new guitarist accompanying them on tour. The guitarist's name is Kevin Mahoney, and he is now an official member of the band.
Hit The Lights released "Skip School, Start Fights" on July 8th 2008.
Like Moths to Flames
Formed in 2008, Like Moths To A Flame is a driving force in a movement of music to be reckoned with. Sparks The Rescue
Channeling modern rock influences into anthemic choruses and themes of lust, loss and embracing your inner demons, Sparks The Rescue return with 12 impressive edgy pop-rock tracks on new album Worst Thing I've Been Cursed With. The band's second full-length is a step forward for the band, blending sassy lyrics and the dynamic, unique vocals of frontman Alex Roy into the melodic, infectious songs the five-piece have become known for.
Emerging from Portland, Maine with debut album Eyes To The Sun in 2009, Sparks The Rescue's playful pop rock made them a fan favorite as they toured with the likes of Mayday Parade and The All-American Rejects, scoring music cues on MTV's Real World: Cancun and winning MTV / Garnier's "I Want My Music On MTV" battle of the bands contest. Hitting the road hard in 2011 in support of Worst Thing I've Been Cursed With, the band are now ready to take on the world. Fans of intelligent pop rock and superb musicianship in the vein of Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Jimmy Eat World and Saves The Day, get ready to fall in love with Sparks The Rescue!
