STOMP is explosive, provocative, sophisticated, sexy, utterly unique, and appeals to audiences of all ages. The international percussion sensation has garnered an armful of awards and rave reviews, and has appeared on numerous national television shows. The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments – matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps – to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms. The return of the percussive hit also brings some new surprises, with some sections of the show now updated and restructured, and the addition of two new full-scale routines, utilizing props like tractor tire inner tubes and paint cans. As USA Today says, “STOMP finds beautiful noises in the strangest places.” STOMP. See what all the noise is about.

We are dedicated to strengthening the cultural life of West Michigan, engaging with our community through outreach and the magic of live theatre.
At Miller Auditorium’s grand opening celebration in 1968, Western Michigan University president James W. Miller promised that the new building would present the performing arts "not as culture for culture's sake, but for the enrichment of the lives of our students, our faculty and our friends in the community."
Our state-of-the-art facility is host to entertainment of all kinds: touring productions straight from Broadway, live concerts, comedy events, family shows, and more. Our dedication to community outreach and education runs deep. When you see a show at Miller, know that you are supporting these goals. (Want to help even more? Consider becoming a Friend of Miller.)
