Spend an unforgettable night with Steve Burns, the original host of Blue's Clues, in an intimate, moderated conversation that’s equal parts heartfelt, humorous, and nostalgic.
Beloved by a generation for his gentle curiosity and genuine warmth, Steve steps back into the spotlight to reflect on the unexpected cultural impact of Blue’s Clues, the moment he said goodbye, and the journey that followed—from children’s television icon to musician, actor, and viral internet sensation. With candid stories, behind-the-scenes insights, and thoughtful reflections on growing up (for him and for us), this evening offers fans a rare opportunity to reconnect with a familiar friend.
Whether you grew up watching him search for clues or discovered him through his moving messages years later, this special event invites you to celebrate connection, curiosity, and the enduring power of kindness.
Guiding the evening is Stefani Bishop, celebrated Kalamazoo radio personality, bringing her signature warmth and insight to the stage. So bring your questions—and maybe your handy dandy notebook—for a night you won’t forget.

About the Theatre
To Enlighten • To Entertain • To Educate
James W. Miller Auditorium is located on the campus of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo and is the premier performing arts venue in West Michigan. We are dedicated to strengthening the cultural life of West Michigan, engaging with our community through outreach and the magic of live theatre.
At Miller Auditorium’s grand opening celebration in 1968, Western Michigan University president James W. Miller promised that the new building would present the performing arts "not as culture for culture's sake, but for the enrichment of the lives of our students, our faculty and our friends in the community."
Our state-of-the-art facility is host to entertainment of all kinds: touring productions straight from Broadway, live concerts, comedy events, family shows, and more. Our dedication to community outreach and education runs deep. When you see a show at Miller, know that you are supporting these goals. (Want to help even more? Consider becoming a Friend of Miller.)
