The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra performs a free outdoor patriotic concert celebrating America's 250th birthday, presented in partnership with the City of Portage. The program features music by John Philip Sousa, John Williams, Duke Ellington, Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, and Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Audiences are invited to vote on a piece the orchestra will perform during the evening.
