Always a Bridesmaid at Meadow Brook Theatre

Always a Bridesmaid is a comedy from the writers of The Golden Girls and Kingdom Come about four Southern women — Libby Ruth, Deedra, Monette, and Charlie — who promise on the night of their senior prom to be bridesmaids in one another's weddings no matter what. More than thirty years later, they are still honoring that vow. The cast includes Cheryl Turski as Libby Ruth Ames, Leslie Ann Handelman as Deedra Wingate, Milika Chereé as Monette Gentry, and Dani Cochrane as Charlie Collins, with Stephanie Wahl, Kasie Buono Roberts, Kennedy Vernengo, and Princess Beyoncé Jones also featured. The production runs on the campus of Oakland University.
