What the Constitution Means to Me, written by Heidi Schreck, explores the personal significance of the U.S. Constitution through the lens of the playwright's teenage experiences. The story follows her journey as she debated the Constitution across the country to fund her college education. Starring Dani Cochrane and Cheryl Turski in the role of Heidi, along with Timothy C. Goodwin as the Legionnaire and Gracie Walch as the Debater, this poignant play uses humor and heartfelt storytelling to reflect on how the Constitution impacts individual lives and society. Directed by Travis W. Walter, the production runs from February 11 to March 8, 2026, at Meadow Brook Theatre on the Oakland University campus.
