Dorsey, the Father of Gospel Music, with a musical performance showcasing the artform that blended secular blues and jazz rhythms with sacred lyrics to create modern gospel music. The event features Grammy-Nominated Johnny Sanders, Faith on Full Ensemble, Francine Ealey Murphy, and storyteller Crystal Walker. The performance is part of the Joseph Caleb Auditorium's Caleb Around Town Black Birth Music Series, an outreach effort designed to inform Miami-Dade County residents about the upcoming opening of the Joseph Caleb Auditorium.
