The 50th anniversary production of The Wiz will take the stage at the Adrienne Arsht Center from October 7 to 12, 2025. This South Florida premiere features talented local artists including Amitria Fanae’ as Addaperle, Kameren Whigham, and Sai Anthony. A vibrant reimagining of the classic story from L. Frank Baum, this Tony Award-winning musical showcases an all-Black cast and an eclectic score blending soul, gospel, and funk. The production promises to deliver a unique theatrical experience, highlighting the journey of Dorothy as she navigates a fantastical world.
