Concert Marks Launch of Voices of Wellness Initiative During Mental Health Awareness Month
Where Opera Meets Sports. Where Music Meets Purpose.
Florida Grand Opera (FGO), in partnership with AllStar Encore, presents Opera & All-Stars—a cross-genre concert bringing together former New York Yankees star and Grammy-nominated guitarist Bernie Williams, internationally acclaimed tenor Jonathan Tetelman, and the Pro Players Group, an ensemble of former NFL athletes who have transitioned into music and performance.
Taking place during Mental Health Awareness Month in May, the event marks the official launch of FGO’s Voices of Wellness initiative—an innovative program exploring the role of music and the human voice in supporting emotional resilience, community healing, and mental well-being. The initiative places a special focus on veterans, active-duty military, first responders, healthcare workers, and their families.
