On April 25, 2006, Culture in the City presents Grammy award
winning jazz flutist, Nestor Torres in honor of his new CD release and his birthday.
Torres will play a selection of compositions from his newest album Dances, Prayers, and Meditations for Peace.
This will be a unique and intimate evening with Miami 's famed and much awarded Latin jazz musician, Nestor Torres. A light show is being created at the Planetarium especially for this 'out-of-this-world' performance. Nestor Torres will be playing against the backdrop of the Planetarium dome. This promises to be a memorable concert.
Private VIP reception begins at 6:15 PM. Performances follow at 7:00 PM.
Prices: $45 for performance; $20 for signed CD.
