A dark comedy about failed diplomacy before the First World War, the play imagines a secret summit of world leaders and diplomats that preceded the call to arms in 1914.

Grand Delusion was recently announced as a finalist for the O'Neill Playwrighting Conference, which many consider the country's most prestigious (winners announced in April).

David is a graduate of New World School of the Arts High School Theatre Department (where three of his plays were produced) and the NYU Tisch Dramatic Writing Program. He has written for the animated show "Baydogs", was a finalist in 2005 for the Warner Bros.Television Writing Workshop and was a founding member of "The Schmendrix" a Los Angeles Comedy Troupe that performed original material all around the city. The Tisch Alumni Council has named him a featured writer for 2007 and a short piece of his, "Enron: Not a Fair Accounting" will appear in their annual showcase on March 12th. He is represented by the literary firm Original Artists in Hollywood.

GableStage is located in the eastern section of the Biltmore Hotel, 1200 Anastasia Avenue, Coral Gables. Valet parking is available. Free parking is available in the Biltmore parking area west of the hotel.
