Lago de los cisnes at Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes

Lago de los cisnes, presented by La Compañía Nacional de Danza, will take the stage at the Auditorio Nacional on October 12. Directed by Cuauhtémoc Nájera, the performance features principal dancers Valeria Mariaud as Odette/Odile, Alejandro Hidalgo as Prince Sigfrido, and Roberto Rodríguez as Von Rothbart. Nájera aims to highlight the humanity behind each character while maintaining the original choreography's beauty, complemented by the orchestral performance of the Orquesta del Teatro de Bellas Artes. The ballet delves into themes of autonomy and transformation through the struggles of Odette, a woman cursed to become a swan.
