Playhouse on the Square’s Curtain Up Offers Magic Kids, Martinis And More
The Magic Kids will join an eclectic lineup of local musicians to perform at Playhouse on the Square's Curtain Up on 11-11-11. The annual fundraiser is five distinct parties under one roof. Various areas of the theatre will be transformed into themed enclaves of merriment complete with food, beverages, music, and more:
· Main Lobby: Wine, champagne, and cheese reception featuring the sounds of Fille Catatonique. Later in the evening the lobby will become a dessert and coffee bar.
· Upstairs Event Room: Zydeco Martini Lounge and hors d'ouevres featuring Tout le Mon.
· Theatre Café: Country-Jazzy-Grassy-Tonk beer tasting, sliders, darts, and foosball with Nay-Nay and the Do-Right Boys (featuring POTS Music Director, Renee Kemper).
· The Trap Room: Password protected Speakeasy/Vaudeville themed party underneath the stage where casino games can be enjoyed with play money to the sounds of Black Max.
· On Stage: Dance party with Red Bull bar, jello shots, and a performance by Magic Kids.
