Belfast Maskers presents its One Act Festival, showcasing four original plays by Maine playwrights from June 19 to June 29 at the Basil Burwell Community Theater. The festival opens with a gripping drama, Mr. Danby’s Son, directed by Angelina Nichols, followed by Georgeanne Oliver's The Grey Monster, directed by Olivia West, which explores healing and family dynamics. Joshua W. Jackson's Teams, directed by Zafra Whitcomb, offers a darkly comic look at workplace technology, while Cassidy Small's Happily Ever After, a comedy celebrating Pride Month, combines fantasy elements with themes of love and acceptance.
