Imogen Cooper at Portland Ovations

British pianist Imogen Cooper is lauded for her virtuosity, poetic poise and suave athleticism. With an enormous range within the classical repertoire, she makes beautiful work of challenging music, consistently demonstrating passagework The Sunday Times calls “exquisite—impeccably even yet full of life, never mechanical…” Throughout her international career she has performed with the New York and Vienna Philharmonics, Royal Concertgebouw, and London Symphony, with recital appearances in Chicago, Paris, Vienna, and at London’s Wigmore and Queen Elizabeth Halls.
