Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella Opens at The Wisteria Theater

North Hollywood, CA — Audiences are invited to step into a world of magic, music, and transformation as Wisteria Theater presents an immersive new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, running now through June 29 at The Wisteria Theater in North Hollywood.

Based on the 2013 Broadway revival, this fresh take on the beloved musical brings together iconic songs, dazzling design, and a reimagined script by Douglas Carter Beane—all in an intimate setting where every seat is part of the story.

“This Cinderella is for dreamers of all ages,” says director Renee Wylder. “It honors the magic and nostalgia we all love while offering a version of the tale that feels contemporary, empowering, and full of heart.”

A Magical Experience from the Moment You Arrive

Before the curtain even rises, guests are welcomed into a fairy tale world. Lobby doors open early for themed photo ops, family-friendly activities, and enchanting pre-show moments. With a fairy tale lobby, Disneyesque projections, and storybook costumes, Cinderella at Wisteria is more than a show—it’s an event.

Matinees begin at 1:00pm (lobby opens at 12:00pm), and evening shows start at 8:00pm (lobby opens at 7:00pm). Convenient parking and concessions are available.

For families seeking an extra sprinkle of fairy dust, Wisteria’s Fairy Tale Package includes a post-show onstage coronation ceremony and magical meet-and-greet with Cinderella herself.

Standout performances include Lexi Collins as a spirited, socially-aware Cinderella, Ali Hoghoghi as a dashing yet idealistic Prince Topher, Shantilly as the enigmatic Fairy Godmother “Crazy Marie,” and Morgan Meadows as the fabulously fierce Madame.

With just 11 cast members and bold use of projections and lighting, the show brings big Broadway energy into a small space without missing a beat.
