The Turning is a world premiere musical by Zack Zadek, directed by Sammi Cannold. Set in the California wilderness, the story follows best friends Gracie and Nora as they navigate a secluded wellness retreat where self-help rituals challenge their courage and friendship. This folk-infused mystery delves into themes of healing and personal growth as the characters confront what they are willing to sacrifice for transformation. The production runs from September 2 to October 11, 2026, at the Center Theatre Group's Mark Taper Forum.
