Spend your summer nights at The Music Center with music and dancing under the stars on Jerry Moss Plaza! The Music Centers Summer SoundWaves, a new outdoor music experience featuring affordable, family-friendly concerts, presents the sounds of Los Angeles with Afro-Mexican rhythms. On Saturday, August 21, L.A. favorite Las Cafeteras will debut new music with its high energy eclectic sound that crosses musical borders. Reinvigorating the roots music of Latinidad with a modern thrust, the band will entertain fans before heading out on a nationwide tour! Las Cafeteras will be joined by Crisia Regalado from Sin Color and Moiss Baquiero from El Conjunto Nueva Ola, along with dancers from Ballet Folklrico de Los ngeles, who have created choreography specifically for this program.
