For the most part, MTW's brand-new, admirably plucky 2024 production—now on stage through February 25—succeeds as an entertaining, visually cheerful show, filled with strong performances, a rousingly robust orchestra, and dynamic, zestfully tap-tastic dance numbers. Despite its lack of any real, serious stakes, the show itself is still a fun time.
The Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center has unveiled their 2021-22 season featuring a captivating collection of music, dance, comedy, and speakers. Located on the campus of California State University, Long Beach, the Carpenter Center launches its 26th anniversary season on Monday, September 20, 2021.
California The Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center, located on the campus of California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), hosts two evenings of dazzling music on Wednesday and Thursday, April 24th and 25th at 7pm, welcoming vocalist extraordinaire Storm Large and her band Le Bonheur to the stage as part of Carpenter Center's Cabaret Series.
