Ronald K. Brown / EVIDENCE at Bram Goldsmith Theater, Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts

Ronald K. Brown / EVIDENCE performs a distinctive blend of contemporary and African diasporic dance traditions across three performances. The program includes four works: Tender Warriors, Clear as Tear Water, Upside Down and Come Ye. Upside Down depicts community mourning and destiny set to music by Oumou Sangare and Fela Anikulapo Kuti, while Come Ye draws on the legacies of Nina Simone and Fela Kuti to explore themes of liberation and peace. Clear as Tear Water, choreographed for Toni Pierce-Sands, offers a meditation on love based on a poem by Ronald K. Brown.
